The Maasai Mara is a year round destination. The Great Migration is usually July to October, with the river crossings. Dry months like January and February, and June to October, often have strong game viewing. November to May is greener and quieter, with great birdwatching.

Most guests fly into Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and then take a scheduled or charter flight to the Mara airstrips (approximately 45 minutes). Our team arranges all transfers from Nairobi, including accommodation before and after your stay.

All accommodation, meals (full board), two game drives per day in a private 4WD vehicle with an expert guide, bush walks, and Maasai community visits are included. Balloon safaris and park fees are charged separately.

Yes, we warmly welcome children of all ages. Our guides are experienced in making safari accessible and exciting for younger guests. We can arrange dedicated family game drives and activities. Please mention children's ages at the time of enquiry.

We recommend khaki and earth toned clothing, a light fleece or jacket for early morning drives, sturdy closed toe shoes, a wide brimmed hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and binoculars. Full packing guidance is provided in your welcome pack before arrival.

We understand plans can change. Cancellations made 60 days or more before arrival receive a full refund. Between 30 and 60 days, a 50% refund applies. Within 30 days, the deposit is non refundable. We recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation.
